Is the Hai’a acting responsibly?

I feel that the article “The high-handedness of the Hai’a” (July 18) was a refreshing and even-handed statement about a controversial subject.

I feel that the article “The high-handedness of the Hai’a” (July 18) was a refreshing and even-handed statement about a controversial subject. I fear, however, that those within the Hai’a who practice the doctrine of the organization accurately are a minority. I do not think that the country is in danger without the Hai’a. Saudi Arabia is a culturally Islamic nation, where lessons on the subject are available everywhere and chaos will not ensue if they are relegated to the private sphere of life.
