RIYADH — Riyadh Public Transport Authority announced the prices for annual tickets on the Riyadh Metro and term tickets for students, effective from January 1, 2026, as part of efforts to develop transport services and facilitate passenger movement in the capital city.

The authority clarified that annual tickets are available to all passengers in both digital and plastic formats. These include the standard class ticket at SR1,260 and the first class ticket at SR3,150. It recommended purchasing tickets through a registered account to ensure safekeeping and easy retrieval when needed.

The authority also announced the semester tickets for students, available to school and university students in both digital and plastic formats. These tickets are offered in the standard class only, at a price of SR260, and are valid for four months from the activation date, covering a full semester.

The Public Transport Authority emphasized that this step aims to provide easier and more flexible transportation options, encouraging passengers to travel to their daily destinations using convenient transportation solutions.
