MAKKAH — Jabal Al-Rahma in Arafat attracts over 10,000 visitors on a daily basis, cementing its status as a key destination that enhances the experience of pilgrims and visitors to the holy city of Makkah.
The area surrounding Jabal Al-Rahma is equipped with commercial kiosks, shaded seating, and misting fans to provide relief from the heat. It also offers dedicated parking for cars and buses, along with more than 10,000 square meters of green spaces that add both beauty and serenity to the site.
It is noteworthy that Jabal al-Rahmah is an important landmark for Muslims, as Hajj pilgrims gather there during the Day of Arafat, for the ritual of Standing at Arafat, which represents the climax of the annual pilgrimage of Hajj. It is 65 meters high above ground and its highest point is 372 meters above sea level.
