RIYADH — Saudi Arabia called upon the international community to assume its responsibility to halt Israeli violations of all international laws and agreements, particularly the recent ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and sovereignty of Syria.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Saudi Arabia's condemnation and denunciation of the continued blatant violations by the Israeli occupation forces in the region, most recently the aggression against the Gaza Strip and Khan Younis. It also slammed the infringement upon the sovereignty of Syria through the deliberate transgression by the Israeli prime minister and several of his government officials into the border region in southern Syria.

Saudi Arabia emphasized the importance of halting Israeli violations of Syrian sovereignty and adhering to the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, which is essential for maintaining the security and stability of the region and guaranteeing the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria.
