JEDDAH — Deputy Emir of Makkah Region and Vice Chairman of the Hajj and Umrah Permanent Committee Prince Saud bin Mishaal chaired a virtual meeting in Jeddah on Sunday with relevant entities reviewing the readiness of the Hajj ecosystem, including procedures, projects, and services. The discussions focused on enhancing early preparations for the next Hajj and ensuring a coordinated effort to offer the best possible services for the pilgrims in the most effective way.


The meeting discussed the latest developments regarding the arrangements and plans of various entities for the Hajj season 2026, aimed to strengthen integration among different sectors involved in the system.


The meeting also examined the latest indicators related to readiness levels and discussed plans for evaluating hypotheses and conducting field trials before the start of the Hajj season. The attendees reviewed the outcomes of discussion panels and workshops held on this topic.
