RIYADH — The Developmental Housing Foundation (Sakan) announced the commencement of the first phase of allotting housing units to beneficiaries in various regions of the Kingdom.
This is in accordance with the directives of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, following his generous donation of SR1 billion from his personal funds to the foundation, represented by the Jood Housing Initiative. This is aimed at supporting homeownership for eligible beneficiaries and families, reflecting the Crown Prince’s keen interest in providing a dignified life for citizens.

In implementation of his directive to work on completing the allotted housing projects within a period not exceeding 12 months, with the importance of adhering to the highest standards of quality and governance in all operational processes, Sakan adopted an executive plan. This plan allows immediate commencement of delivery through six phases to include all regions of the Kingdom through the selection of units implemented by national developers and companies that conform to the approved technical specifications, thus ensuring a rapid and tangible developmental impact.
The Sakani program, in coordination with the regional governorates, is also implementing a monthly distribution plan covering two regions in each phase. This plan aims to streamline access for beneficiaries and improve the efficiency of the delivery process.
