RIYADH — Saudi Gazette Managing Editor Anas Al-Yusuf has won the Media Leader of the Year award at the Athar Festival for Creativity, held in Riyadh last week.
The award recognizes exceptional leadership and innovation in the media industry and was presented during a ceremony honoring leading figures in marketing, media, and creativity across Saudi Arabia.
Okaz Editor-in-Chief and General Supervisor of Saudi Gazette Jameel Altheyabi said the recognition reflects the newspaper’s editorial and digital transformation over the past year, achieved through a professional newsroom and the ongoing support of Okaz Chairman Sheikh Abdullah Saleh Kamel.
“Saudi Gazette stands out as one of Okaz’s most prominent media platforms, speaking to the world in a professional voice that showcases Saudi Arabia’s remarkable and fast-paced transformation,” Altheyabi said.
He added that since its full digital transformation in 2019, the publication has continued to strengthen its presence as a trusted Saudi platform delivering quality content that reflects the Kingdom’s modern identity and expanding its global reach and influence. — SG
