RIYADH — The General Administration of Education in the southern Asir region announced the winter school hours will come into force in all public and private schools in the region from Sunday, Oct. 26. Meanwhile, the Madinah Education Administration has set the date for commencing winter school hours next Sunday, Nov. 2.
The Asir Education Administration stated that morning assembly will begin at 7:15 a.m., with the first class starting at 7:30 a.m., emphasizing the importance of adhering to schedules to ensure the smooth running of the educational process and the safety of students.
The Madinah Education Administration indicated that morning assembly for boys' schools will begin at 7:30 a.m., with the first class starting at 7:45 a.m., while morning assembly for girls will begin at 7:15 a.m., with the first class starting at 7:30 a.m.
The administration emphasized the need to adhere to the specified times for controlling attendance and departure, noting that school hours will be updated in accordance with the academic calendar and organizational changes.
