DAMMAM — Eastern Province Police denied on Friday the claims made by an Indian expatriate in a video circulating online, in which he expressed a desire to return to his home country.

Police said the man was summoned for questioning, and it was determined that he had filmed and posted the video solely to increase views on his social media account.

Authorities confirmed that there was no dispute between the expatriate and his employer.

Legal measures have been taken against him in coordination with the relevant authorities.
