KHOBAR — Roshn Saudi League side Al Qadsiah have secured the permanent signing of 22-year-old Saudi international midfielder Musab Al Juwayr from Al Hilal, handing the highly rated prospect a five-year contract.
Al Juwayr, who rose through the youth ranks at Al Hilal, enjoyed a breakout spell on loan at Al Shabab over the past two seasons.
His performances in 2024-25 were nothing short of exceptional, winning the Roshn Saudi League Young Player of the Month award every month of the campaign and registering 15 goal involvements in 31 matches.
His stellar season earned him the inaugural RSL Young Player of the Season accolade.
On the international stage, Al Juwayr has already established himself as a key figure for Saudi Arabia, earning 19 caps and scoring six goals since his debut in January 2023.
The attacking midfielder becomes the latest addition to Al Qadsiah’s ambitious summer recruitment drive, which has seen the Aramco-backed club bring in Italian striker Mateo Retegui from Atalanta, veteran forward Abdullah Al Salem from Al Khaleej, and experienced left-back Yasser Al Shahrani from Al Hilal.
Al Qadsiah will open their domestic season in Hong Kong, facing Al Nassr in the Saudi Super Cup semi-final, before turning their attention to the 2025-26 RSL campaign, where they aim to build on last season’s impressive fourth-place finish.
