JEDDAH — In a pulsating encounter at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, Al Ahli clinched a dramatic 4-2 win against Damac, scoring two goals in stoppage time during the fourth round of the Saudi Pro League.

The match saw the English striker Ivan Toney make his mark for Al Ahli, netting two goals after joining the club this summer. Al Ahli opened the scoring in the 12th minute through Gabriel Viega, taking an early lead.

However, the tide turned just before half-time when Damac equalized in the ninth minute of stoppage time. A powerful shot from Ayman Falata found the back of the net, sending the teams into the break level.

In the second half, Al Ahli regained the lead with a quick goal from Ivan Toney, but Damac responded with an equalizer from Farouk Shafie in the 66th minute, leveling the match at 2-2.

As the game seemed destined for a draw, Al Ahli's substitute, Firmino, broke the deadlock with a goal in the ninth minute of stoppage time, sending the home fans into a frenzy. Toney then sealed the victory with a second goal just moments later.

This thrilling win earned Al Ahli three crucial points, bringing their total to seven in the league standings, while Damac remains on three points.
