RIYADH — Cristiano Ronaldo sealed a memorable night for Al Nassr with a spectacular overhead kick, rounding off a 4-1 victory over Al Khaleej in Matchweek 9 of the Roshn Saudi League on Sunday.
The Portuguese superstar’s goal deep into stoppage time crowned a commanding display by the league leaders, who extended their winning run and moved to 27 points, four clear of second-placed Al Hilal.

Al Khaleej, meanwhile, stayed on 14 points in seventh.
Joao Felix opened the scoring in the 39th minute before Wesley doubled the lead three minutes later.
Murad Al Hawsawi pulled one back for Al Khaleej early in the second half, but Sadio Mane restored the two-goal cushion in the 77th minute.
Then came Ronaldo’s moment — a perfectly executed bicycle kick in the fifth minute of stoppage time that brought fans at Al Awwal Park to their feet and put the finishing touch on a dominant home performance.
Elsewhere, Al Taawoun salvaged a dramatic 1-1 draw against Neom FC in Buraidah, with Walid Al Ahmad heading home the equalizer a minute before the final whistle after Said Benrahma had put the visitors ahead from the penalty spot.
The result leaves Al Taawoun third on 22 points, while Neom move to 14 points, sitting eighth.
