RIYADH — Al Hilal continued their flawless performance in the Saudi Pro League with a third consecutive victory, defeating Al Riyadh 3-0 in the third round to remain at the top of the table.

Captain Salem Al-Dawsari starred in the match, scoring the first goal with a solo effort in the 53rd minute. He then provided an excellent assist to Mitrović, who scored the second goal for Al Hilal, and repeated the assist for Mitrović's third goal in stoppage time.

The match, held at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, saw the debut of new Al Hilal signings João Cancelo and Marcos Leonardo. Both players scored in the second half, but their goals were disallowed for offside.

Al Hilal's victory halted Al Riyadh's perfect run and handed them their first loss of the season.

Al Riyadh, led by coach Sabri Lamouchi, had previously drawn with Al Wehda and defeated Al Khaleej in their earlier matches.
