Al Shabab signs French international Kheira Hamraoui as the women's football team strengthens its squad

The management of Al Shabab Club, represented by Princess Reem bint Abdullah bin Musaad, Executive Director of Women’s Football, has signed a professional contract with French international Kheira Hamraoui, a star midfielder.

Hamraoui, of Algerian descent, was born in 1990 in northern France and has had an illustrious career, playing for top clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain, Olympique Lyonnais, and FC Barcelona.

In a related move, Al Shabab bid farewell to eight players: Dalal Abdul Latif, Athir Al Juwayr, Oriana (foreign professional), Rita (Nigeria), Mai Sweilem (Jordan), and Tunisian players Ella Al Kaabashi and Shaima Al Abbasi, along with professional player Aghoh.

It is noteworthy that Al Shabab's women's team finished third in the Saudi Women's League last season.
