JEDDAH — Visitors of Red Sea Mall in Jeddah enjoyed celebrating the 84th Saudi National Day on Tuesday.

Visitors recalled the importance of this historic day and the unity achieved by the founder of the Kingdom, King Abdul Aziz.

After pulling together all corners of the land, a royal decree was issued on Jumada Al-Awal 17, 1351H, to announce the formation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The mall held many activities starting from the traditional coffee and dates, the Saudi national anthem with its lyrics, and colors were splashed all over the interior of the mall.

The visitors enjoyed the traditional tent beside the fish aquarium that exhibited the simple Bedouin life and Saudi customs and traditions.

During the celebration, citizens expressed their love and compassion for the homeland country and their patriotism through a dedicated Twitter hashtag (Watanity Heya).

The mall also installed a photo booth with pictures of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah and Crown Prince Salman, which attracted large numbers of families and kids.

Visitors and shoppers were excited by a surprise visit from the Sharai Family mascots and took pictures and videos with them.
