Absenteeism not high in Ramadan: CIB

The Control and Investigation Board (CIB) in the Eastern Province has discovered 482 employees were absent and 283 others were late for work during the first week of Ramadan.

AHSA—The Control and Investigation Board (CIB) in the Eastern Province has discovered 482 employees were absent and 283 others were late for work during the first week of Ramadan. The general manager of the follow-up and research department, Abdulaziz Al-Mejli, said the CIB has carried out 708 inspection rounds to monitor the attendance of employees in bodies that are under its monitoring umbrella in various cities and governorates of the Eastern Province. He said the number of employees who were absent or late for work fell within the normal range. “The CIB carried out 1,544 inspection rounds during the month of Shaaban and found that 1,509 employees were absent while 1,348 others were late for work,” he said.
