DAVOS — Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with British Secretary of Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs Yvette Cooper on the sidelines of the 2026 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland on Wednesday.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation between the two countries. They also discussed the latest developments in the region and joint efforts being made to address them.
The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation and the Principality of Liechtenstein Abdulrahman Al-Dawood, and Advisor to Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed Al-Yahya.
Also on Wednesday, Prince Faisal bin Farhan held talks with French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot in Davos.
The foreign ministers discussed regional developments and joint efforts aimed at achieving security and stability in the region.
Saudi Arabia, Ecuador sign cooperation agreement
Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan also met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility of Ecuador Gabriela Sommerfeld in Davos.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to further enhance them in various fields. They exchanged views on a number of topics of mutual interest.
Following the meeting, the two ministers signed a general cooperation agreement between the governments of Saudi Arabia and Ecuador, with the aim of strengthening relations between the two friendly countries and advancing them toward broader horizons.
