The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) forecasts that several regions of the Kingdom will experience active surface winds stirring up dust and sand, and a noticeable drop in minimum temperatures starting Tuesday and continuing until Thursday.

RIYADH — The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) forecasts that several regions of the Kingdom will experience active surface winds stirring up dust and sand, and a noticeable drop in minimum temperatures starting Tuesday and continuing until Thursday.

The NCM indicated that minimum temperatures will fall between 2 degrees Celsius and -2 degrees Celsius in Tabuk, Al-Jouf, the Northern Borders, Hail, and the northern part of the Madinah region. Temperatures will drop between 4 degrees Celsius and 1 degree Celsius in Al-Qassim and the northern parts of the regions of Eastern Province and Riyadh.

Active surface winds stirring up dust and sand will hit on Tuesday the Al-Jouf and Northern Borders regions, extending from Tuesday evening through Wednesday to include Hail, Al-Qassim, Riyadh, Eastern Province, and Najran regions.

It noted that the impact of the winds will extend on Wednesday and Thursday to the eastern parts of Asir and Al-Baha regions, as well as to the Makkah and Madinah regions, including their coastal areas.
