Saudi foreign minister holds calls with regional and European counterparts on developments

RIYADH — Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan held a series of phone calls on Saturday with his counterparts from the Middle East and Europe, during which they discussed regional developments and issues of mutual interest.

Prince Faisal spoke with Fuad Hussein, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, reviewing bilateral relations and exchanging views on the latest developments in the region and ongoing efforts to address them.

He also held talks with José Manuel Albares, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Spain, during which both sides discussed Saudi–Spanish relations as well as regional developments and international coordination efforts.

In a separate call, Prince Faisal spoke with Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The two ministers discussed regional developments and joint efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region.

Prince Faisal also spoke with Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye. Their discussion focused on recent regional developments and shared perspectives on the evolving situation.
