Harvard University delegation visits King Abdulaziz University to explore academic cooperation

JEDDAH —A delegation from Harvard University, including faculty members and students from Harvard Business School, visited King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah on Sunday as part of efforts to strengthen academic engagement and explore opportunities for collaboration between the two institutions.

The visit included a tour of the Faculty of Economics and Administration at King Abdulaziz University, where the delegation was briefed on academic programs, research initiatives, and recent developments in education, business, and management sciences.

The delegation also took part in an open meeting with Dr. Tareef Alaama, President of King Abdulaziz University. Discussions focused on potential areas for academic and research cooperation, reflecting a shared interest in building long-term institutional partnerships.

The Faculty of Economics and Administration is the first established faculty at King Abdulaziz University. It comprises ten academic departments and offers more than 30 undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including executive and academic master’s degrees and PhD programs, serving approximately 8,452 students. — SG
