Saudi Gazette report
ADEN — Saudi security and military delegation, headed by Falah Al-Shahrani, advisor to the commander of the Joint Forces of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, arrived in Aden, interim capital of Yemen, on Monday.

The Homeland Shield Forces, affiliated with the Yemeni government, confirmed, via their account on the X platform, that the delegation's visit comes as part of arrangements and coordination led by the Joint Forces with direct support from Saudi Arabia.

This marks the first such a visit since the government regained control of the strategic port city. The purpose of the visit is to oversee a number of organizational and field arrangements and to enhance the level of coordination between various entities.

This visit is seen as a sign of continued support for the internationally recognized government. The arrival of the coalition leader underscores the commitment to stability in Aden.

The visit comes a few days after the head of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council Rashad Al-Alimi announced the formation of the Supreme Military Committee under the command of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy Forces, to assume command of various military formations.

The formation of the committee came after the Southern Transitional Council announced last Friday of its dissolution, following the failure of its attempts to seize control of the southern Yemeni governorates of Hadramout and Al-Mahrah with the aim of separating them from the north.
