Deputy FM Al-Khereiji attends ceremony of Cyprus assuming EU Council Presidency

NICOSIA — On behalf of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Al-Khereiji attended the opening ceremony of Cyprus assuming the presidency of the Council of the European Union in Nicosia on Thursday. The presidency of Cyprus will last from January to June 2026.

Meanwhile, Al-Khereiji met with with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus Constantinos Kombos. They discussed bilateral ties between the two countries and ways to further enhance them in various fields. They also exchanged views on topics of common interest.
