Saudi Gazette report
JEDDAH — The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) predicted that Saudi Arabia will experience cold weather at night and in the early morning hours in the northern regions and the southwestern highlands during the mid-year school break of 1447 AH. There is also the possibility of fog and frost forming in parts of these regions.
The center explained that there is a chance of rainfall towards the end of this week in parts of the Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Hail, Makkah, and Madinah regions, which may be accompanied by a drop in temperatures and increased cloud cover.
It also noted that surface winds will stir up dust and sand during the daytime in parts of the regions of Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Hail, Makkah, and Madinah, with the effects extending to the Qassim, Riyadh, and Eastern Province regions, potentially reducing horizontal visibility.
The NCM urged citizens and residents to take precautions, follow weather updates and warnings, especially in areas expected to be affected by this weather system. The center emphasized the importance of monitoring daily reports on its official website and its authentic social media accounts.
