Housing units allotted to over 9,000 families in Jeddah

JEDDAH — New housing units were allotted to more than 9,000 families, who were residents of the undeveloped neighborhoods in the Jeddah governorate.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Bolahid, undersecretary at the Makkah emirate, handed over housing units to the beneficiaries in a ceremony held at the governorate headquarters in Jeddah on Wednesday.

This is in line with the directives of Makkah Deputy Emir Prince Saud bin Mishaal, who is also chairman of the Main Committee for the Removal of Undeveloped Neighborhoods in the Jeddah Governorate.

Deputy Minister of Municipalities and Housing for Housing Supply and Real Estate Development Abdulrahman Al-Tawil also attended the ceremony. The number of beneficiaries of this housing initiative reached 9,206 families.
