RIYADH — The Ministry of Commerce announced on Thursday the recall of 2,239 Honda Accord Hybrid cars (2023-2025 models) due to a defect in the integrated control unit programming.

The ministry stated that this defect could lead to a sudden loss of power while driving, increasing the risk of an accident or injury.The ministry urged owners to check if their vehicle identification number (VIN) is included in the list of the recall by contacting the recall center and to contact the company to have the necessary updates performed free of charge.
