SAKAKA — Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif laid the foundation stone for the Unified Security Operations Center (911) in Al-Jouf Region on Wednesday.

The ceremony was held in Sakaka in the presence of Emir of Al-Jouf Region Prince Faisal bin Nawaf. It was also attended by Deputy Emir of Al-Jouf Prince Miteb bin Mishaal and a number of senior officials.

During the visit to the northern Al-Jouf region, Interior Minister met with the Emir of the region, as well as with security commanders and a group of citizens of the region.

The Saudi security authorities recently announced plans to expand the unified security reporting system (911) to all regions of Saudi Arabia in the future. The use of this reporting system is currently limited to the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province.

The Unified Security Operations Center project is part of the strategic plan to unify emergency numbers across all regions of the Kingdom and consolidate operations rooms in each region to operate within a single center under one roof. This will contribute to increasing the efficiency of emergency response.

The Unified Security Operations Centers are among the Ministry of Interior's initiatives implemented in cooperation with the Quality of Life Program, one of the programs of the Saudi Vision 2030. These centers facilitate and expedite access for beneficiaries to the relevant authorities in emergencies and enhance coordination and information exchange among relevant agencies, thereby improving the quality of security services provided.

During his meeting with Emir of Al-Jouf Prince Faisal bin Nawaf, Minister of Interior affirmed that his visit to Al-Jouf Region comes in implementation of the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, reflecting their comprehensive and balanced attention to the development of the Kingdom's various regions, strengthening the security and stability system, and supporting sustainable development initiatives.

During the visit to Al-Jouf, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud met with security commanders of the region, in the presence of Emir Prince Faisal bin Nawaf. During the meeting, the minister conveyed the greetings of King Salman and the Crown Prince to the security commanders and personnel of the security sectors in the region, wishing them continued success in performing their duties.

The minister also conveyed the greetings of the King and the Crown Prince to the people of Al-Jouf Region. This came during his meeting with a number of citizens from the region, in the presence of Emir Prince Faisal bin Nawaf.
