Makkah Border Guards rescue 2 Bangladeshis after their boat breaks down in Red Sea

AL-LITH — Search and rescue teams from the Border Guards in Al-Lith governorate in the Makkah region have rescued two Bangladeshi residents after their boat broke down in the open sea. The accident occurred due to a malfunction and the Bangladeshis were provided with necessary assistance by the Border Guard teams.

The General Directorate of the Border Guard urged all seafarers to follow maritime safety guidelines, ensure vessel seaworthiness before departure. It also called the public to contact by calling over the number 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, and the Eastern Province, and 994 in other regions of the Kingdom for emergency assistance.
