RIYADH — The Ministry of Interior has launched five new services on Absher platform. Deputy Assistant Minister of Interior for Technology Affairs Eng. Tamer Al-Harbi launched the new digital services that aimed to enhance the national transformation system within the Ministry of Interior.

The launching of the new Absher services was held during the Absher 2025 Conference, inaugurated by Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif in Riyadh on Wednesday. The three-day conference is being held in partnership between the Ministry of Interior and the Tuwaiq Academy.

The new services include "Absher Assistant" for delegated artificial intelligence; "Comprehensive Field" for enhanced security and safety; "Secured Conversations" via the Absher application; the "Talk to Your Data" service to support leadership decision-making, and the "Central Database" service for analyzing 911 reports.

Eng. Tamer Al-Harbi noted that the Ministry of Interior continued its digital excellence in 2025, with the launch of more than 30 digital products and services across various sectors of the ministry, most notably the Civil Status Agency, the General Directorate of Public Security, and the General Directorate of Passports.

Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Minister of Interior for Technology Affairs Prince Bandar bin Abdullah stated that the Absher platform represents a turning point towards eliminating paper transactions and their requirements. “Its services have exceeded 400 digital services, benefiting more than 32 million users through the National Unified Access Platform. It has achieved a social and economic impact exceeding SR20 billion annually, and the user satisfaction index has risen to over 93 percent,” he said adding that the platform has also garnered several national and international awards.

Prince Bandar said that the ministry seeks to enhance digitalization and raise operational efficiency across all sectors in the field of business digitization, leveraging artificial intelligence technologies, smart imaging, and interactive journeys to support proactive security, enhance preparedness, manage crowds, protect borders, and combat crime, thereby strengthening national digital indicators both locally and globally.

The conclusion of the Absher Tuwaiq initiative was announced during the conference. More than 150,000 citizens from16 cities across the Kingdom have benefited from the initiative. Minister of Interior also honored the winning teams of the "Absher Tuwaiq Hackathon," which broke the world record and was registered in the Guinness World Records as the largest hackathon in the world, with the participation of 4,100 Saudi men and women.

The conference also witnessed the signing of a partnership agreement between the Ministry of Interior and Humain, an AI company wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund, to provide new digital solutions and enhance the Absher system.
