RIYADH — The Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF) announced on Wednesday the signing of three agreements, amounting to a total of SR324 million, with the aim of supporting and empowering 2,191 Saudi jobseekers in various sectors.

The deals were inked with the Energy and Water Academy, the Health Academy of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS), and the Saudi Academy of Culinary Arts (ZADK). The agreements were signed by the HADAF Deputy Director General for Business Firas Aba Al-Khail, with CEO of the Energy and Water Academy Eng. Tariq Al-Shamrani; Founder and Chairperson of ZADK Rania Mualla; and CEO of the Health Academy at the SCHS Ahmed Al-Shamrani on the sidelines of the Development Finance Conference, which is being held at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center.

These agreements reflect the HADAF’s commitment to enhancing the skills of the national workforce, equipping them with knowledge and qualifications, and aligning them with labor market needs. The Fund adopts an approach that prioritizes beneficiary outcomes in the design and delivery of its work and services.

The HADAF, under the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, strives to elevate the Kingdom’s human resources system by leveraging visions and shaping future labor market trends, providing services to beneficiaries through a focused package of programs that address needs and meet requirements. This contributes to raising the efficiency and competitiveness of the national workforce, supporting the achievement of localization and economic development goals, in line with the objectives of Vision 2030.

The ongoing Development Finance Conference underscores the National Development Fund's role as a key enabler of development in the Kingdom and a strategic arm leading the development finance landscape. The HADAF aims to unify efforts and maximize developmental impact to ensure sustainable growth and empower vital sectors to achieve development goals both locally and globally, through the 12 development funds and banks under its umbrella.
