RIYADH — The National Development Fund (NDF) will host the inaugural Development Finance Conference from December 9–11, 2025, at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Centre in Riyadh.

Under the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the three-day event will be held under the theme “Leading Developmental Transformation” as part of the NDF’s MOMENTUM 2025 platform, a major initiative bringing together more than 150 speakers, 120 participating countries and 30 exhibitors to address global financing challenges and opportunities across manufacturing, sustainability and economic resilience.

The Development Finance Conference (DFC) is positioned as a pivotal gathering to advance the Kingdom’s development ecosystem and reinforce its role in meeting national priorities.

It will highlight the impact of development finance in improving spending efficiency, stimulating economic growth and empowering high-value sectors essential to diversification efforts.

A key focus will be the integration of Saudi Arabia’s development funds and the growing role of the National Infrastructure Fund in strengthening project readiness, attracting quality investments and enabling wider private-sector participation.

Established in 2017, the NDF is responsible for overseeing and elevating the performance of development funds and banks across the Kingdom.

Through MOMENTUM 2025, the conference will examine global economic shifts, evolving trade relationships and the rise of new markets and sectors.

It will also address the transformative forces shaping development worldwide, including the rapid expansion of artificial intelligence, the increasing urgency of sustainability and the need to invest more deeply in human capital.
