WASHINGTON — Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman held expanded meetings with Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Mike Johnson at the U.S. Capitol in Washington on Wednesday. Leaders and members of the House across various committees were also in attendance.
Speaking on the occasion, House leaders affirmed their support for further strengthening the historic relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America. During the meetings, the Crown Prince discussed a range of important issues, including developments in regional and international affairs, in addition to areas of cooperation between the two countries across various sectors.
Those who attended the meetings from the Saudi side include Saudi Minister of Energy and Chair of the Saudi Side of the Saudi–U.S. Strategic Economic Partnership Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman; Saudi Ambassador to the United States Princess Reema bint Bandar; Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan; Minister of State, Cabinet Member, and National Security Adviser Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban; Minister of Commerce Majid Al-Qasabi; Minister of State and Cabinet Member Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh; Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan; and Secretary General of the Partnership Council with the United States of America Mohammed Al-Tuwaijri.
