WASHINGTON — Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman affirmed that the signing of the Strategic Defense Agreement by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman and US President Donald Trump embodies the strong commitment of the two friendly nations to deepen their partnership. “The agreement would pave the way for enhancing regional security, and the efforts for advancing global peace and stability,” he said.

Saudi Ambassador to US Princess Reema bint Bandar said that the agreements will spur investments in both countries and generate jobs for Saudis and Americans.

The signing of the Strategic Defense Agreement comes within the framework of the long-standing strategic partnership and the deep-rooted historical ties that have united the two countries for more than 90 years.

It represents a pivotal step that strengthens long-term defense cooperation and reflects the shared commitment of both sides to support peace, security, and prosperity in the region.
