MIAMI — Saudi Ambassador to the United States Princess Reema bint Bandar said relations between Saudi Arabia and the US are at their strongest point ever, highlighting unprecedented coordination and a deepening strategic partnership between the two countries.
Speaking at the America Business Forum in Miami on Wednesday, the ambassador underscored the Kingdom’s active diplomatic role in responding to global challenges in close cooperation with Washington.
“Relations between Saudi Arabia and the United States today are the strongest in their history, witnessing unprecedented coordination that reflects the depth of strategic partnership between the two countries,” she said.
Princess Reema pointed to the Kingdom’s mediation efforts in several international crises, noting Riyadh’s ongoing work with the U.S. to promote peace and stability across multiple regions.
“When the president was elected, one of the tasks we were given was to support the White House and the president with Russia and Ukraine, and many of you will have seen, we hosted emissaries from both countries to have their negotiation in the Kingdom with the United States of America,” she said.
She added that Washington not only welcomes Saudi Arabia’s involvement in resolving global crises but views it as essential to achieving meaningful progress.
“We’ve supported in Syria, in Gaza, we hope to be supporting through to a two-state solution, we hope to be able to resolve Sudan, but nobody can do it without the United States.”
From facilitating dialogue between Russian and Ukrainian representatives to backing peace efforts in Syria, Gaza, and Sudan, Princess Reema reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to working alongside the United States to advance regional and global stability.
