RIYADH — The fourth edition of the Digital Government Forum, organized by the Digital Government Authority under the slogan "Our Future is Now," began in Riyadh on Wednesday.


More than 2,000 delegates and speakers, including several ministers are in attendance. They include decision-makers, experts, and senior leaders of more than 100 technology and digital transformation companies.

In his opening address, Digital Government Authority Governor Eng. Ahmed Alsuwaiyan stated that the forum reflects the Kingdom's commitment to digital transformation, noting significant progress in global indicators due to the achievements of government entities.

He said the Kingdom is advancing toward an integrated digital future, with innovation and artificial intelligence as key pillars for enhancing government performance and improving services for citizens and residents.

The forum aims to boost efficiency and productivity in government, public, and private sectors through a unified digital ecosystem that consolidates work tools.

Highlights of the conference included the announcement of the Digital Content Efficiency Index for 2025, which achieved a score of 76.24 percent, indicating a competent level across 250 government websites. Award recipients for the Digital Government Award 2025 were honored, along with qualifiers for the Innovation Challenge Accelerator 2025, recognizing their contributions to national digital transformation.

The first day featured interactive workshops and sessions on innovation in government, focusing on AI and emerging technologies to enhance services and beneficiary experiences.

The forum will continue on Thursday with leadership sessions and dialogues, alongside an exhibition, showcasing initiatives and achievements from over 40 government and private entities in digital transformation.
