RIYADH — Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman held official talks with King of Malaysia Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Tuesday.

During the meeting, they discussed the strong fraternal relations between Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. They also explored prospects for bilateral cooperation across various fields, and addressed several issues of common interest.

Earlier, a formal reception ceremony was held for the King of Malaysia during which the national anthems of both countries were played, and the two leaders inspected the guard of honor.

The Crown Prince warmly welcomed the King of Malaysia to the Kingdom. On his part, the King expressed his happiness at visiting Saudi Arabia and meeting with the Crown Prince.


The meeting was attended by Minister of State and Cabinet Member Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd, Deputy Emir of Riyadh Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman, Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, Minister of National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar, Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb, and Saudi Ambassador to Malaysia Musaed Al-Saleem.
