RIYADH — Saudi Arabia will host the International Conference on Nuclear and Radiological Emergencies 2025 (EPR2025) from December 1 to 4 in Riyadh. The conference, with the theme “Building the future in an evolving world,” will be organized by the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission in collaboration with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
The conference aims to enhance international cooperation, facilitate the exchange of expertise and best practices, develop national capabilities in nuclear and radiological emergency preparedness and response, and address technical and regulatory challenges.
EPR2025 will showcase the latest scientific developments, innovations, and solutions in detection and protection within this field. This initiative will contribute to strengthening the capabilities of member states, enhancing the sustainability of nuclear safety systems at both national and international levels, and identifying future priorities for developing emergency systems in response to rapidly evolving global circumstances.
