RIYADH — John Pagano, CEO of Red Sea Global (RSG), announced that he has been granted Saudi citizenship. He expressed deep gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for this profound honor and privilege.
In a statement shared on X, Pagano wrote: “It is a great honor to share that I have been granted Saudi citizenship. My sincerest gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for this immense privilege and trust.”
He noted that after spending several years in the Kingdom, he has “embraced its culture, built lasting connections with its people, and witnessed its inspiring transformation. Saudi Arabia has become a place I proudly call home, and I’m excited to be part of the remarkable journey ahead with Red Sea Global,” Pagano said.
Pagano, a British national, has led Red Sea Global—one of the Public Investment Fund’s flagship tourism projects—since its inception, overseeing the development of The Red Sea and Amaala destinations along the Kingdom’s western coast. Under his leadership, RSG has become a symbol of Saudi Arabia’s sustainable tourism vision, aligning with Vision 2030’s goals to diversify the national economy and showcase the country’s natural and cultural assets to the world.
