Trump welcomes Saudi Crown Prince to White House with full ceremonial honors

WASHINGTON — U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday evening welcomed Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman and his accompanying delegation to the White House.

Trump stepped out onto the White House lawn to receive the Crown Prince on the red carpet, as the military band performed the national anthems of Saudi Arabia and the United States.

The ceremony also featured a flyover by American fighter jets in the skies above the White House timed with the crown prince’s arrival, while the U.S. Cavalry Guard raised both the Saudi and American flags.
