RIYADH — The Ministry of Tourism has carried out over 47,000 inspection tours of tourism hospitality facilities, including hotels and apartments, across the Kingdom during the first half of 2025. These inspections have resulted in the detection of approximately 21,000 violations.
According to the ministry, these inspection tours are part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the sustainability of the tourism sector and ensure that hospitality facilities and tourism activities comply with approved rules and regulations.
The ministry emphasized the importance of maintaining high-quality services across all hospitality facilities, warning that penalties for violations may include fines of up to SR1 million, facility closures, or both.
