CAPE TOWN — Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha held talks with South African Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies Solly Malatsi on the sidelines of the G20 Digital Economy Working Group Ministerial Meeting in South Africa.



During the meeting, their talks focused on strengthening partnerships in the digital economy and artificial intelligence (AI), as well as empowering youth and entrepreneurship, in support of the objectives of the pertinent working group.

Alswaha also met with Finland’s Minister of Transport and Communications Lulu Ranne. Their discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in digital infrastructure and broadening partnerships in emerging technologies to support digital economy growth, empower entrepreneurs, and create new opportunities for innovation.
