RIYADH — The Capital Market Authority (CMA) expressed gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman for issuing a royal order appointing Dr. Murayea bin Saad Hubbash as a member of the authority’s board.
In a statement, the CMA praised the leadership’s support and commitment to strengthening the Saudi financial market, enabling it to continue its development and reinforce its regional and international standing.
Dr. Hubbash brings extensive academic and professional expertise in corporate governance, accounting, financial markets, and investment.
He holds a doctorate in corporate governance from Durham University and a master’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Birmingham.
He is also a fellow of the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants and has earned several advanced diplomas in commercial arbitration, entrepreneurship, and sustainability.
His previous roles include serving as head of the accounting department at King Khalid University, leading governance services at the Public Investment Fund’s Governance Center, and working as a governance advisor at both the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development and the Capital Market Authority.
