NEW YORK — Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom Yvette Cooper on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Wednesday.

During the meeting, they discussed the cooperative relations between the two friendly countries, as well as regional and international developments, mainly the current situation in the Gaza Strip.

Also present at the meeting were Princess Reema bint Bandar, Saudi ambassador to the United States; Prince Musab bin Mohammed, advisor to the minister of foreign affairs for political affairs; and Mohammed Al-Yahya, advisor to the minister of foreign affairs.
