RIYADH — Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman emphasized that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan would stand together in the face of any aggression against either country.

Reacting to the signing of the joint Strategic Defense Agreement between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, he said in a statement on his X account: "Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.. One front against any aggressor... always and forever."


Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif signed on Wednesday the agreement, which aims to enhance aspects of defense cooperation between the two countries and strengthen joint deterrence against any aggression.

The agreement stipulates that any aggression against either country shall be considered an aggression against both, it was announced in a joint statement. The pact was inked following the official talks between the Crown Prince and Pakistani prime minister at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh
