JEDDAH —
The Saudi Ministry of Health has released the Health Awareness Kit for the Hajj season of 1446 AH.

The initiative supports ongoing efforts to enhance public health awareness and prevention during Hajj and aligns with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program and the Pilgrim Experience Program.

The comprehensive kit includes health guidelines in eight languages — Arabic, English, French, Urdu, Persian, Indonesian, Malay, and Turkish — ensuring accessibility to pilgrims from across the globe.

Key components of the kit include guidance on preventing heat exhaustion, such as the use of umbrellas to avoid direct sun exposure and the importance of regular hydration.

The resources aim to ensure that pilgrims can perform their rituals in good health and peace of mind.

In addition to written materials, the kit features awareness videos, social media posts, and printable educational tools promoting healthy practices and preventive measures.

These materials are designed to reduce health risks and foster a safer pilgrimage environment.

The Ministry encouraged pilgrims and Hajj workers to download and benefit from the kit’s content.
