KUWAIT — Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef led the Kingdom’s delegation to the 54th meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Industrial Cooperation Committee in Kuwait.

The committee discussed key industrial issues, including the mechanism for unified product standards, the unified strategy for industrial development, and the Gulf Industrial Excellence Award.

The meeting also addressed reports on international trade practices, industrial consulting, and the impact of the Customs Union on trade integration. The discussion focused on enhancing industrial sector collaboration and promoting national industries to drive economic growth and address sector challenges.
