BEIRUT —
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has dispatched an airlift of 27 aircraft carrying essential relief supplies to Lebanon.

The shipments include food, shelter materials, medical supplies, baby formula, personal care items, winter supplies, and blankets, coordinated with Lebanese authorities for distribution to displaced families across various regions.

As part of the ongoing humanitarian mission, KSrelief has also launched the second phase of its aid program. This phase focuses on implementing food, shelter, and health projects in collaboration with international and UN humanitarian organizations, as well as local community institutions.

The initiative aims to alleviate the suffering of more than 1.6 million individuals affected by the crisis in Lebanon.

This effort reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to humanitarian assistance worldwide, executed under the directives of the Saudi leadership. KSrelief's continued support is designed to address the urgent needs of those affected and displaced in Lebanon.

Previous relief efforts have prioritized food security, shelter, and medical services. According to KSrelief officials, needs assessments in various sectors are ongoing in Beirut and other areas in cooperation with Lebanon’s caretaker government and relief organizations to identify and prioritize aid distribution.

The first relief plane to Lebanon landed on October 13, with the airlift continuing to deliver supplies to Beirut.
