PORT SUDAN — Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, chairman of the Sovereign Council of Sudan, received Saudi Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Eng. Walid Al-Kheraiji in Port Sudan on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Al-Kheraiji conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman to Al-Burhan.
The deputy minister stressed the keenness of the Saudi leadership on restoring security and stability in Sudan.
Al-Kheraiji’s visit comes within the framework of the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to address the Sudanese crisis, and reach a ceasefire, in addition to the Kingdom's continued support for the efforts to alleviate the humanitarian suffering of the Sudanese people
