Al-Faisalya Society launches 'Pilgrim's Present' initiative

JEDDAH
— Al-Faisalya Women Welfare Society launched a "Pilgrim's Present" initiative in collaboration with "Ma'an" (Together) volunteering team and under the sponsorship of Oriental Commercial & Shipping Co. Ltd.

The initiative aims to welcome pilgrims coming to perform Haj with gifts. The team will receive 1,500 pilgrims at Jeddah Islamic Port and King Abdulaziz International Airport and distribute a bag with useful items to each pilgrim.

The bag contains a prayer mat, beads, facemasks, tissues, siwak, umbrella, water bottle, bandage, and prayer shawl for women.

The volunteers will also see off departing pilgrims and present them with perfumes and other gifts on their way back home.

"Pilgrim's Present" is an initiative adopted by Al-Faisalya Women Welfare Society this year.

Some 200 female and male volunteers are participating in the initiative

The Society commended Oriental Commercial & Shipping Co. Ltd. and its CEO Abdul Hameed Bokhari and Dr. Abla Bokhari for supporting the initiative.
