HAIL — Police in Hail have denied reports they had to deal fights, skirmishes and protests following Abdullah Al-Shammari’s execution, Al-Watan reported. Rumors of violent protests surfaced shortly on social networking sites after the beheading of Al-Shammari, who was executed for killing a man more than 30 years ago. Col. Abdulaziz Mohammed Al-Zinaidi, spokesman for Hail police, denied all rumors in a statement to the press.
