JEDDAH — Following completion of Haj rituals, Lebanon Consul General in Jeddah Ziad Atallah held a luncheon in honor of Sheikh Mohammed Assaf, head of the Lebanese Haj Mission. The event was attended by Grand Mufti of Tyre Sheikh Hassan Abdullah and a large number of Lebanese community members.

Atallah congratulated the attendees on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha and praised all arrangements adopted by Saudi authorities to ensure the comfort and safety of pilgrims while performing Haj rituals.

Atallah also noted the liability of Lebanese campaigns and their commitment to follow instructions issued by the Saudi authorities.

Assaf thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, the Saudi government and Ministry of Haj for excellent facilities extended to the pilgrims.

Assaf said relations between Saudi Arabia and Lebanon are "deep and steady” citing greetings of Prime Minister Tammam Salam and the Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian to Saudi authorities and Lebanese pilgrims.
